What you should bring to the table

  • Experience (optional)  - We'll consider your application if you are straight out of college and have done some cool projects.
  • Problem Solving Skills
  • Passion for developing web or mobile applications
  • Motivation to be on top of your area of expertise (read blogs, mailing lists)
  • Love for Open Source technologies and always be ready to do something for the community
  • Ruby/Rails (optional)
  • Version Control/ Git (optional)
  • Plan, write, estimate, task and execute User Stories within Iterations
  • Clearly communicate problems, solutions and ideas to Project Managers
  • Proficient in any sql database
  • Good design sense, you will not be designing user interface, but you should be able to tell good design from bad
  • Proficient in CSS, DHTML, Javascript (if you are applying for UI designer)
  • Good knowledge of web standards
  • Must be proficient with Illustrator, Photoshop, etc. (for UI designer)
  • Flash skills not mandatory, but good to have(again for web designer)
